We are happy to inform you that we are once again able to provide dental care for you and your family!
The Ministry of Health has lifted the restriction on dental treatment that has been in place since the middle of March. While many things have changed since then, our commitment to your health and safety has not.

Dental offices are very strictly regulated and have always had extremely stringent infection control standards. Most of the infection control procedures that are required now have always been in place. For example:
  • Performing hand hygiene when entering and when leaving an operatory
  • Daily biologic monitoring of our sterilizers
  • Water testing
  • Treatment of the dental unit water and waterlines
  • Cleaning and sterilization of all reusable instruments after each use
  • Disinfection of the operatories before and after each patient
  • Wrapping or covering of commonly touched surfaces in clinical areas such as keyboards, mice, light handles
  • Disinfecting of common touch surfaces in common areas such as doorknobs
However, we have updated some of our protocols to ensure that we are following all public health protocols specific to this pandemic. When we see you for your next appointment, things will look a bit different.
  • We will ask Covid screening questions before your appointment and when you arrive for your appointment. This menas that we must speak with you the day before your appointment. We ask you to reschedule in advance if you have any symptoms of Covid, including mild cold and/or flu symptoms.
  • You may be asked to wait in your car until we call you to come into the office. Please do not arrive too far in advance of your appointment time.
  • We ask that you come on your own as much as possible (obviously this does not apply to children and people who need assistance).
  • We have hand sanitizer that we will ask you to use when you enter the clinic. There are more dispensers around the clinic if needed.
  • We will ask you to wear a mask in the office at all times except when having treatment. Any kind of face covering (cloth mask, bandana, scarf) will suffice.
  • We will take your temperature before your appointment
  • You will be asked to rinse with hydrogen peroxide before any procedure
  • Sadly, for the time being, we have removed all magazines, toys, video games, the coffee and water stations, and the in-operatory headsets for the tv.
  • Appointments will be spaced out to allow for physical distancing between patients. That might mean less flexibility for scheduling your appointment, but it will reduce the number of patients in the reception/waiting area at any one time.
  • We are prioritizing appointments for emergency and urgent care treatment
  • You may notice that we are wearing more protective gear. This is dependent on the procedure. We will have a mask on at all times so unfortunately you will not see our smiling faces!
  • We have installed Plexiglass shields at the reception desk
  • We have added HEPA filtration and UV lamps on all of our furnaces
  • We will have air filtration units in the waiting rooms and further units to place in dental operatories following aerosol generating procedures.
All of these measures are designed to create the safest environment for you, other patients, and our team.

We look forward to seeing you again. If you have any questions, please get in touch.

We really appreciate your patience and loyalty throughout this pandemic. We are hoping to be able to at least greet you without a mask one day soon (and bring back the tv :))
